I feel like I'm doing a lot of the same looks and same techniques, just with different colours, know what I mean? I feel like I really need to branch out in my techniques and colour range. I feel like I do the same thing all the time: colour on the lid + colour in the outer third/crease + highlight.
I think doing monochromatic looks it's just easy because I don't have to worry about, does this look too out there? Do these colours go well together?
What do you think?

Pretty colours! I know what you mean about using the same technique. I usually get stuck doing the same thing as well, but since I started my January 2011 Series, I had to try something new or else it would look too repetitive. Check out the look I did on Jan 29th & the 15th. Not sure if you've tried something like that, but I'd love to see what you come up with if you do. I was surprised at how much I liked it when I did it the first time. It def stands out than other repetitive techniques.
