Another Wet n' Wild rave, but with merit - this drugstore brand has definitely been stepping their game up! I purchased this Wet n' Wild Color Icon eyeshadow a few months after it came out. I didn't have any high expectations about this eyeshadow, but I decided to do a quick post about it once I realized how frequently I started using this.
Brulee is the perfect matte creamy-beige highlight colour. I use it daily as my highlight colour. It's also perfect for when I bring a colour too high on my lid, it acts as an "eraser" and helps to bring the colour down.
I can't remember exactly what these swatches are, but I believe the swatch on the left is without a primer, and the swatch on the right is with UDPP as a primer.
I also love that this eyeshadow is pigmented but can be easily built up or toned down. I've already hit pan on this! I got it a few months ago, I want to say at the beginning of the summer. Which is crazyyyyy because this Wet n' Wild eyeshadow has 1.7g/0.06oz of product, compared to a MAC eyeshadow which has 1.3g/0.04oz of product.
Another thing to rave about is the price! This is $2.77 CDN at Wal-Mart, and you definitely can't beat that.
The only down side for me personally is that I can't depot it and place it in my palettes, but the packaging is sturdy and well made.
Have any of you tried the new Wet n' Wild products?
