How To Remove Artifical Nails

Here's what I promised from my last post. (:

Originally I saw this on Make Me Blushhh and I decided to see if it worked for me, this is how I did it.

Step 1 - You have to have your artifical nails (of course) and your supplies. I'm using 100% pure acetone, cotton pads, and tin foil.

Step 2 - Soak your cotton pad with the acetone, an then wrap the cotton pad around your nail.

Step 3 - Keeping the cotton pad on your nail, wrap your nail with tin foil to help keep the wet cotton pad in place. Do this with all your nails.

Step 4 - Keep this on your nails for a minimum of 15 minutes. You then can open one up to see if the artifical nails have dissolved off. If there's still a bit of the nails on, keep it on for a little longer.

And then you're done! It's pretty simple, and it's way better than trying to pick and peel the nail off. Just remember to condition your nails after!

Revlon Fantasy Lengths Nail Quick Review

This post is long overdue. A while ago I won a giveaway on Celly @ La Dolche Vita's blog for the new Revlon Fantasy Lengths Nails.

They are your basic press on fake nails. I think they are pretty natural looking, and it wasn't terribly hard. The only trouble I had with applying them was there was always air bubbles, but after reading countless reviews I think that's been a problem for everyone. I'm not sure how much they are, cause I haven't seen them in stores yet, but I'm guessing they'd be approx. $10ish CDN?

I was in a rush to put them on as soon as I got them, but I loved they way they looked. I only did one hand, and I kept them on for a day, haha. The reason being because I wear contacts and me + fake nails + trying to put on/take off contacts = no go.

I would definitely put these on for special occasions, like a special night out, or even prom! They didn't damage my nails at all, and I have real brittle/peely nails. They come off easily with acetone polish remover, I'll do a post on how I removed them with minimal damage soon.

Till later! (:

SPFLP & TFSI Quick Review

I just wanted to post a quick review on the Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer (SPFLP). So far, I've tried it by it's self and under UDPP and TFSI, and I'm still seeing creasing, but it I found that it actually holds up a little longer.

I'm still in the early stages of seeing what works out for me, but so for SPFLP, is alright. It has one universal nude colour, and it dries pretty quickly also. I'm going to work with it for a bit and then I'll make a final conclusion.

By the way, does anyone else find TFSI a bit runny? When I first used mine, a bit of like watery product came out. Is it suppose to be like this, or is it just me?

Sephora Haul + Blue FOTD

Sorry for the lack of posts. Honestly, I'm on the computer everyday but I never get around to actually posting. One of the reasons is cause when I resize photos and upload them, they come out all grainy and what not, and so I just get frustrated and give up. But I think I've found a resolution to that.

Yesterday I went out shopping to look for a dress for my prom that's coming up, and I'm having no luck so far, I'm kinda mad for putting it off until the last minute, but I hope I find something I loveeeee.

So, after having no luck, I stopped by at Sephora and picked up two new primers, because UDPP is not really cutting it out for me. I have oily eyelids, and after 45 minutes I'll notice creasing. So I picked up Too Faced Shadow Insurance (TFSI) and Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer (SPFLP).

So far after doing a quick test run, I know that TFSI won't work for me, I think it's more for people with dry to normal lids. SPLFP, seems like it would work a bit better for me. I'm also going to try layering the primers on top of eachother and see how that works out for me.

Anyways, here's a FOTD from the other night, something I was just messing around with.
