Whenever I do my make-up, I cleanse my face first, then apply moisturizer all over and let that sink in for a few minutes, then get ready to do my eye-makeup.
Before I even apply my primer, I take a fluffy brush and apply some blot powder all over my lid. I like to use my MAC Blot Powder because it's pressed and less messy - but you can also use any kind of loose face powder.
What the powder does is that it absorbs any oils from your lid - so that when you apply your primer, you're applying it on a clean oil free lid versus an already oily lid which can break down through your primer/base and through your eyeshadows.
Let me know if this works for you!

I usually just put UDPP on, but I like your idea especially for the days when I know I'm gonna be running around a lot!

Thank goodness for my non-oily lids, so my eyeshadows are ok! But you're right, putting on a base would work and I would lean on UDPP !
Thank you for the tip! I have MAC blot powder so I'm gonna try it! :D
