The next day I tell my boyfriend, "Give me two colours", "Red and purple." Ha! So I guess that's the end of that..
In my last post, Rai at Glam Morena asked if I had dyed my hair. Well, I wasn't really going to post about it, but since it's a beauty blog.. ;)
A couple of weeks ago I was going through a rough time and had this sudden inspiration to dye my hair. Now, I was a hair dye virgin. Never added any artificial colours to it. So I was a bit spectacle about doing something dramatic to my whole head. I decided I would go with adding some colour to my bangs. I was thinking something bright, like a royal violet, or an electric blue. Plus, if I didn't like it, it was just in my bangs and not all over my whole head, so it would grow out fast.
Anyways, so I booked an appointment for the next day and I came out with a deep magenta colour. My stylist had put highlights in the under layers of my bangs, and 2 highlights on both sides of my hair so it wouldn't look weird having random colour out of nowhere.
I liked the way it turned out, and I felt my burst of spontaneous change has been satisified.
But I realized later that I probably wasn't the best candidate for hair colour because I wash my hair every single day - which can obviously make your hair fade faster. And with a bright colour, it wasn't the best idea.
So, I'm thinking if I should:
a) dye over it brown.
or
b) pick up some hair supplies at Sally's and upkeep it myself at home.
I'm thinking of going with (b), but I've never dyed my hair myself before, so I'm not really sure where to start. Help?

Very pretty!
Now...about your options....You can always buy hair colour at Sallys and try to maintain it but you will def need some help from your sister. But what do you wanna do to your hair now? There's hair colouring/highlighting tutorials on youtube....check them out...it's fun!
