About two weeks ago, I headed into my local Dollarama dollar store to pick up a few cheap essentials. While browsing through the beauty isle, I came across these lashes by Bare Elements. I've never heard of the brand before, but after having a look at these lashes I decided to purchase 2 pairs to test.
In my last post here, I posted a look using these lashes, and I'm pretty happy with them - so I wanted to share.
As you can see, they only cost me $1.50 - which is GREAT for those who want to practice using/applying lashes, but don't want to fork $6.00+ for a pair.
From what I can remember, there were 2 styles of lashes, these ones I have posted here, and another one similar with diamonds on the lash band.
What I like about these lashes is that they don't have a stick/plastic-y feeling to them. They're very soft and the hairs look very natural. I'm not sure exactly what the hairs are made up of because it's not listed anywhere on the packaging.
These lashes are a bit long which can make it difficult for every day wear, but they'd be a perfect accessory to jazz a look up. They also do come with a little vial of glue, which I would not recommend because it has a strong super glue smell to it - something I'd be weary about putting near my eyes.
If you beauty junkies have a Dollarama near you, check your local store out to see if they carry these as well. I'll definitely be going back to stock up!
