"Eyebrows are sisters, not twins.."

We've all heard this quote before - and whether we're talking about eyebrows, blending our eyeshadows perfectly on each eye or applying equal amounts of blush on each of our cheeks, we know that obtaining symmetry is hard.

After cleaning up my eyebrows, filling them in and edging them with concealer to finish - I sat back and noticed that each of my eyebrows are noticably (well to me) different from eachother.

I went to look at myself in my larger dresser mirror, but I didn't see any noticable differences. However, upon closer inspection, it's clear that they're two different shapes.

Here's a photo of me looking straight on towards the camera;

Here's a photo I drew in Paint Shop Pro to outline the differences. My left brow (your right in the pictures) is more straight with a sharp angle, whereas my right brow (your left in the pictures) is nicely angled and tapered.

The first photo of my actual brows better depicts the difference, and the second photo I drew shows how it doesn't make a difference really because they both pretty much look the same from a far.

Being a perfectionist, it still bothers me.

So tell me, are your brows twins? Or more like sisters? Please don't let me be the only one that's so fixated on this, lol.

My brows are definitely also sisters! In fact, one time I went to the salon to get my eyebrows threaded and the lady got frustrated at me for having two completely different eyebrow shapes lol!

My brows are most definitely sisters (especially as of late)! When they're natural, my right brow shape is my favorite..But filled in, my left brow always looks better for some reason. Maybe it's in my head.

Oh my goodness, I love this post.

My brows are also sisters... My left brow is so much prettier than the right brow. But don't tell the right brow I said that... *raises right eye brow* haha!

You shouldn't complain about your brows, I think they are soooooo perfect! Mine are totally sparse and they have absolutely no shape ):

My eyebrows are sisters too. The only thing that bugs me about them at times is that one is longer than the other. But I feel that these little imperfections make us perfect in our own way, so I don't worry about having them symmetrical

Mine are definitely sisters! One side of my brows droops a bit because there's this certain hair grows a bit faster than the rest! LOL!

My brows definitely are sisters, the left one is always nicely arched whereas right always has some issue.

faternal twins over here.
one of mines has a cut from stiches and it's thicker, the other is slightly shorter length from both ends and rounder... plus both have different hair pattern/growth, so tweezing and trimming are both uniquely different aka a pain in my ass.

I dont make a fuss tho, your brows are way more identical than mines tho. really nicely shaped.

My eyebrows most def are sisters!
Like they say both sides of your body aren't identical, eyebrows can get very close but its so hard to get them perfect.
I don't think i'll ever be satisfied with mine, but as long as they are similar thats all you need :)

My eyebrows are definitely sisters. Actually, they're so different from each other that I don't even think they're related. :P One of my eyebrows is higher than the other and seems longer with a pointier arch. I don't know.. it's weird. I hate my brows haha.
